In July 2005 it will be 100 years that the most decisive resistance war started in the southern part of what today is Tanzania. The war lasted from 1905 through to 1907 and took the lives of 75.000 to 250.000 persons, approximately.
We take this forgotten war as an occasion to deal with the German colonial history. Especially the causes and the results or consequences of the war will be a matter of discussion.
